The Tracy Bujinkan Dojo is dedicated to enhancing the community by providing self-protection training. The training transmits the teachings of nine ancient warrior arts under the guidance of Jack Hoban and Mark Hodel. The dojo instructors are directly affiliated with the International Bujinkan headquarters in Noda City Japan where it is directed by the current Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi. The nine traditions, with over 1000 years of history, include |

Samurai and Ninja traditions that have the only verifiable evidence of their authenticity. The History of these schools spans over 1000 yrs. Budo Taijutsu is not a sport martial art and has no competitive aspects, it is a purely self-defense combat art. The training encompasses all aspects of self-protection skills such as grappling, punching, and striking as well as armed and unarmed attacks. The techniques and |

philosophies are based on centuries old combat tested techniques. While the training is serious classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere that is fun and enjoyable. The point is after all to improve ourselves and find ways to live our lives without fear. Our program is designed to assist anyone, regardless of age, sex, level of fitness, physical handicap, or prior experience in the martial arts, to experience success through the power of accomplishment. The goal of the training is to allow each student to experience and enjoy the happiness in their life that is the birth-given right of every person. |
